Construction update

The Raigmore Active Travel Link is nearing completion, with the majority of work due to be finished over the next couple of weeks. After this, the only outstanding work will be the final parts of guardrail and handrail installation, which is hoped to be completed by Christmas.

These delays have been caused by supply chain issues and we apologise for any inconvenience.

What’s been happening?

The installation of handrails and guardrails, as well as verging works, has continued. Construction of a timber fence around the site has also commenced.

What’s happening next?

Handrail and guardrail installation and verging works will continue this week, as will construction of the timber fence. A landscaper will be on site to begin planting trees, dependent on weather conditions, and street lighting will be connected.

Welfare cabins will be removed from site when the majority of work has been completed over the next couple of weeks.
