Construction update

The Pat Munro team has been busy again this week on the construction of the Raigmore Active Travel Link.

What’s been happening?

Work carried out this week includes drainage, plus work on handrails and guardrails.

What’s happening next?

This week, work to prepare the ground for footpaths will continue. The layer below the footpath is being graded, ready for the top layer of tarmac later in construction. Kerbs for the footpaths will also be put in.

The team will also commence the installation of steps that will provide an alternative shorter route for those not wishing to follow the entire route of the new footpath.

Community Council meeting

The next Raigmore Community Council meeting will take place on Monday 30th August at 7pm via Zoom. The Raigmore Active Travel Link will be the first item on the agenda.
