Active Travel Link making good progress

The construction of Raigmore Active Travel Link remains on track for completion in September.

What’s been happening on-site?

There has been an increased number of deliveries over the past couple of weeks removing materials from the site. Some issues were raised over the speed of lorries entering and leaving Raigmore estate which were addressed with drivers. The next phase of work will see fewer deliveries to site but if you have any concerns over the speed of vehicles, please contact the team via the channels listed below.

A layer of topsoil has also been removed to allow for the creation of the footpath towards the top of the Active Travel Link.

What’s happening next?

Construction will begin on the concrete capping beam at the top of the sheet pile wall which will require concrete to be delivered by lorry through the estate.

The team will also be continuing to form the footpath at the bottom of the Active Travel Link, including the installation of drainage and handrail foundations.

Any questions or concerns?

Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions or concerns.

If you would like to speak with someone on-site, please wait at the site entrance where a member of the team will meet you. You can also always contact the team on raigmoreatl@whalelikefish.co.uk or 01463 830 390.
