An update summary
During the meeting, the Pat Munro team confirmed that work is on schedule for completion in September. Sheet piling has now been completed and the latest work has consisted of earthworks to raise the ground to path level.
Regular environmental inspections and health and safety audits have taken place throughout construction, with nothing to report from these.
The latest work has involved lorries bringing materials onto the site. At the meeting, members of the public raised concerns over the speed of lorries entering Raigmore estate.
The Pat Munro team has raised the issue with drivers this morning (29th June) to remind them of the 20mph speed limit. The team would like to apologise for any concern caused by this and would ask members of the community to report any further issues via the details provided below.
Following the earthworks, from 1st July, concrete deliveries will commence, and concrete caps will be installed on the sheet piling to improve aesthetics.
As with all stages of the works, noise and vibrations will be monitored to ensure they are within legal limits.
