Sheet piling at Raigmore Active Travel Link completed

Over the past two weeks, the installation of sheet piling has been taking place on-site. This was the most disruptive phase of the works so we would like to thank Raigmore residents and those affected for their patience.

What’s next?

Now that sheet piling has been installed, the next step is phase two of earthworks, which will begin on Wednesday 23rd June for eight days.

Like the first phase, when earth was excavated to ready the site for the installation of the sheet piles, phase two will see earth brought in to raise the ground to path level.

This will bring increased traffic to the site through Raigmore estate. A road brush will be in use again to ensure the roads remain clean.

As with all stages of the works, noise and vibrations will be monitored to ensure they are within legal limits.

The next Raigmore Community Council meeting will take place via Zoom on Monday 28th June at 7pm. The Raigmore Active Travel Link is the first item on the agenda. Those who would like to attend can find details to join the meeting below.
